Almotamar.net - Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Mohammed Nasser Ahmed met on Saturday with the Russian ambassador to Yemen Vladimir Didohchin and the military attaché in the embassy.

The meeting dealt with a number of issues related to the interests of the two countries and enhancing the areas of the existing military cooperation between the two friendly armies.

In the meeting, the Defense Minister hailed the Russia’s positions in support of Yemen, especially in the military field.

For his part, the Russian ambassador confirmed that his country would provide the various aspects of support to Yemen so as to ensure Yemen’s security, stability, unity and development.
