Almotamar.net - President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi on Monday requested the parliament to expand membership of the Shura council.

In his relevant letter, Hadi asked the parliament for enlarging the membership of Shura council to comprise all the components represented in the National Dialogue Conference (NDC), including youth, women and civil society organizations, among which the south must be represented by 50%.

The President justified his request by carrying out the NDC's outcomes, which was laid down clearly in the NDC guarantee document.
