Almotamar Net -  President Abdo Rabu Mansour Hadi received the former Palestinian prime minister Salam Fayyad who has recently been appointed as an expert in Yemen’s Executive Bureau for the Acceleration of Aid Absorption. 

In the meeting attended by UN Envoy Jamal Benomar and the acting chief of the Executive Bureau for the Acceleration of Aid Absorption Khaldoon Mohammed, Yemen’s updates and successes achieved by the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) were reviewed.

Almotamar.net - President Abdo Rabu Mansour Hadi received the former Palestinian prime minister Salam Fayyad who has recently been appointed as an expert in Yemen’s Executive Bureau for the Acceleration of Aid Absorption.

In the meeting attended by UN Envoy Jamal Benomar and the acting chief of the Executive Bureau for the Acceleration of Aid Absorption Khaldoon Mohammed, Yemen’s updates and successes achieved by the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) were reviewed.

President Hadi welcomed the appointment of Fayyad, pointing out that he will cooperate with Yemenis to tackle Yemen’s economic and security crises.

Hadi said that Yemen could overcome its crises which have accumulated for about 50 years, indicating that Yemen’s stability is an important factor in the maintenance of international security and peace.

For his party, Fayyad expressed his pleasure to work with Yemen, affirming that he would do best to serve Yemen and implement outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference.

He cited that strategic projects such as desalination of water and electricity generation will take long time, reiterating that small-sized enterprises will achieve a qualitative shift.

Fayyad stressed that the International support, assistance and grants allocated to Yemen will make major changes, pointing out that needs and priorities are evaluated to take advantages of international support
