Almotamar.net - The parliament member Yasir Al-Awadi has met with head of the European Union Mission to Yemen ambassador Bettina Muchyt.

The two officials reviewed issues related to mutual relations between the parliament and the European Parliament as well as means to improve the two sides cooperation relations.

Al-Awadi pointed out to the importance of developing their relations, particularly after the political settlement witnessed in Yemen and holding the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) as a solution to address the country's problems.

He hailed the EU support and its earnest position towards transitions taking place in Yemen and its persistent pursuit to build a new Yemen in various fields, calling for more support for Yemen.

For her part, the EU official affirmed that the EU countries are continuously supporting all the positive changes Yemen undergoes, in addition to their contribution in stabilizing security and stability and preserving the unity of Yemen.
