Almotamar.net - Turkey's Religious Affairs Directorate head Mehmet Gormez arrived on Friday in Sana'a on an official visit to Yemen.

Görmez was set to fly to Sana'a, the capital of Yemen, on March 20 for an official visit.

During his several-day visit, Görmez will visit the library in Sana'a where a historical Quran written by hand is displayed and will meet with a number of Yemeni Islamic scholars.

Görmez will also give a conference at the Sana'a University, and will be received by several Yemeni officials.

He will also attend the inauguration of the Turkish-Yemen Technical and Vocational Institute, built by the Turkish Cooperation and Development Agency.
