Almotamar.net - Army troops have found mines and labs for equipping car bombs and making bombs in al-Qaeda terrorists' strongholds in Abyan province.

Commander of military troops in Abyan Staff Brigadier Hydra Lahtal confirmed that the armed and security forces and the popular committees' fighters found large amounts of mines, explosive devices, bombs and prisons and different devices, as well as basements and long tunnels, which were used as caches by terrorists during air strikes.

Lahtal stressed the continuation of the military operations in chasing the remnants of armed groups affiliated with al-Qaeda in order to eliminate them and purge the country of the terrorism.
