Almotamar.net - The presidential committee charged with bringing security and stability to Amran province met on Thursday separately with the province's leadership and representatives of Ansar Allah.

In the meetings, the committee sought to resolve the existing problems wisely, to end disputes and to tackle the causes of the recent tensions witnessed by the province.

The presidential committee called on all parties to give priority to the public interest and to concern for maintaining the security and stability of the province.

It stressed the need for the all parties' commitment to the solutions that would be reached, since that would avoid the use of force and violence and would bring peace to the province.

In this regard, the committee confirmed that the security situation is stable and that its meetings with the parties are going in a positive manner towards the desired goals in achieving the truce and maintaining security and civil peace.

The Committee called on the media to investigate the accuracy and credibility when publishing news and to avoid broadcasting destructive rumors.
