At the Regional Conference on combating human trafficking hosted by Sudans capital Khartoum during October 13-16, Yemen stressed in its speech, which was delivered by the ambassador Abdulelah Hajar, the importance of seeking to eliminate the main causes of the growing phenomenon of asylum and illegal immigration, represented in poverty, illiteracy, unemployment ,oppression ,armed conflicts and natural disasters

At the Regional Conference on combating human trafficking hosted by Sudan's capital Khartoum during October 13-16, Yemen stressed in its speech, which was delivered by the ambassador Abdulelah Hajar, the importance of seeking to eliminate the main causes of the growing phenomenon of asylum and illegal immigration, represented in poverty, illiteracy, unemployment ,oppression ,armed conflicts and natural disasters.

The ambassador Hajar reviewed the principles and recommendations of the Sana'a Declaration issued by the Regional Conference on Asylum and Migration from the Horn of Africa to Yemen, held in Sana'a in November 2013, which he called for their implementation so as to contribute the reduction of the human trafficking crime.

He pointed to the efforts made by Yemen in receiving and accommodating refugees and immigrants and combating the human trafficking.
