Almotamar.net - The leader Ali Abdullah Saleh, chairman of the General People's Congress, held a meeting of the Congress leadership in presence of Sadiq Amin Abu Ras, First Deputy Chairman of Congress, and Aref Awad Azwka Secretary-General of the Congress.
They stood on a number of regulatory issues, and activation of the regulatory and political activity of the GPC, then they heard to the report submitted by the Secretary-General of Congress on the overall activities of the regulatory and public events during the first quarter of this year, and the tasks that lie of them for the next period , including aims to promote and activate the role of Congress in various aspects, also those associated with work to stop the aggression and lifting the siege imposed on Yemen.
In the meeting, Saleh stressed that the masses of people that came on the 26th of March sent a strong message that the General People's Congress will continue to be strong, coherent and determination more than ever, especially after sort and dispose of opportunist elements that they were burden, and a black point on the Congress.
The meeting took a number of decisions and regulatory procedures that are associated with the Congress activity for the next period.
