Almotamar.net - The archaeological team from the German Heidelberg University announced Saturday of important archaeological discoveries at a large site in the city of Dhafar that was the capital of the Himyarate state until 540 BC but it believes that the history of these discoveries date to the time of the Christ.

The German archaeologists said the have discovered in the site an engraving representing a person 1.06 metre high with a crown on its head probably belonging to a young king or a priest of high position.
